She is described as an easygoing and interested student. Katia has very good English language skills and looks forward to using them on a daily basis. Her brother Jorge had a great high school exchange experience in New Zealand, now Katia looks forward to making her own great memories learning American culture.

Thiago is an active boy who is looking forward to experiencing American culture and high school. He is a talented soccer player who has been playing for many years. Thiago and his Dad are involved in participating in competitive horse events. He also plays volleyball, handball and tennis. Thiago often helps his Dad on the family farm. He hopes to make a career in farming or becoming a veterinarian one day. Thiago attends church weekly. He enjoys spending time with his friends, traveling with his family and working on the computer.

Ricardo is a friendly, responsible, caring, and easy-going person. He loves music and playing the guitar both classical and electric. Ricardo loves all sports and hopes to get a chance to learn snow sports while in the US. He is happy spending time with his family and friends, and when he has spare time watches movies, and enjoys photography. Ricardo looks forward to meeting his HF, and hopes that they email him as soon as possible so they can get to know each other right a way.

Iris is an intelligent outgoing girl who has a desire to learn about the American way of life. Family and friends are extremely important to Iris. Iris works at a child party facility where she enjoys interacting with the children. Iris is an overall good student and great family member. She makes it a point to spend time with all people that are important in her life. Iris would be a great addition to any family and truly looks forward to sharing her culture as well as learning a new one.

Patrick is a creative boy who is looking forward to discovering American culture and to meet many new friends. He and his family enjoy traveling and spending time together. Patrick has a big interest in producing movies and editing videos. He enjoys swimming often and spending time with friends. Patrick is a well rounded boy and prides himself on being receipting and tolerant of diversity. He is enthusiastic about meeting his American host family and sharing his German culture.
